The mission of the Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) is to prepare students for leadership in design, the visual arts, and art history through innovative, collaborative education that fosters intellectual growth and individual creativity and promotes the ethical and civic responsibilities of artists and designers, locally and globally. The Dean of KCAD is charged with the overall responsibility for the advancement of this mission and success of the College's academic programs through collaboration with faculty, students, staff, and others to provide strategic leadership to advance the overall quality and aspirational goals of the College. Under general direction from the General Counsel or his/her designee, advise and represent the University in various legal matters. Confer with and advise University officials on a wide variety of legal matters/topics, constitutional law, general business and contractual matters, including issues relating to public corporations, government regulatory compliance, and employment law. Interpret, revise, and draft policies of the University, including Board of Trustee policies. Collaborate with University officials regarding effective use and implementation of policies. Adjunct Instructor - School of Education Big Rapids, MI 49307
The School of Education seeks candidates to teach on a semester-by-semester, as needed basis, in the areas of elementary and secondary education. The instructor is expected to use high-quality instructional strategies, integrate theory and practice, and support student success in coursework and clinical experiences. Director, Dual Enrollment Programs Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Director of Dual Enrollment Programs provides leadership and oversight to administer, enhance, and expand the dual/concurrent enrollment and early/middle college programs. This individual will build relationships with high schools and career centers throughout the state, partner with deans, department chairs, and faculty to address student and school district needs, and implement marketing and promotional strategies to ensure participation. The Director will also provide admission and registration support services at off-campus sites and oversee orientation and administrative support for students and faculty. Director - IT Infrastructure and Security Big Rapids, MI 49307
The Director - IT Infrastructure and Security is a key leadership role within the university’s Information Technology department. This position oversees the Network Services team, Systems Administration/Architecture team, and Information Security office, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure the stability, security, and performance of the institution’s core technology infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background, particularly in network architecture, engineering, and server administration, along with a good understanding of Information Security. A Desktop Support Technician responds to incidents and requests escalated by the Service Desk that are related to customer equipment in which additional skills, knowledge, tools, or authority are required. May resolve incidents remotely, at the user’s location, or via equipment returns. Responsibilities may include hardware and software troubleshooting, deployments, moves, adds, and changes. Technicians must be customer service oriented. This position will be expected to travel to satellite campuses on occasion. CompTIA A+ certification required within 90 days of employment. Adjunct Instructor - Information Security and Intelligence (Dual Enrollment Programs) Metro Detroit
Seeking qualified applicants for a pooled, part-time Instructor position in Information Security and Intelligence to teach dual enrollment (high school students) courses in Detroit, Michigan. Courses will be delivered face-to-face at 1201 Woodward and are planned to meet three days per week (tentatively MWF, between 12pm-3pm) during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Instructors will teach one or more of the following courses: ARTI 113 – Introduction to AI; ISIN 121 – Digital Security Awareness; CLOU 131 – Cloud Computing Fundamentals; and ISIN 209 – Network Security. Athletic Staff (Part-Time) Big Rapids, MI 49307
This is an basic athletic help position that will be asked to fill in as needed around the athletic complex, fields and facilities. This position is on a part time as needed basis with no guarantee of hours and will be used to fill in gaps in our student worker staff. The job duties will vary depending on the needs and the schedule of teams and events.
