| Temporary faculty teaching AAS and/or BS level coursework involving Industrial, Electronics and Automation Technology. Typical subject matter includes DC / AC circuit analysis, Industrial Electronics, Motors and Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, Digital Systems, Electronic Devices and Sensors. The anticipated start date of this position is August of 2025 at the earliest and January of 2026 at the latest. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. Required: A master’s or higher-level degree in field or closely related field and 3 years of relevant industrial experience. (all courses up through 400 level). A master’s or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor’s or associate’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught. (all courses up through 400 level). A bachelor’s degree in field and 5 years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses taught; or an associate’s degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and 5 years of relevant industry experience. (all courses up through 200 level). 3-5 years of relevant industry experience dependent upon degree obtained. See Required Education. |

| The Architecture and Facility Management Department seeks applications for a part-time, temporary faculty position. Responsibilities involve teaching one or more courses in the following degree programs: AAS in Architectural Technology, or BS in Architecture and Sustainability, or BS in Facility Management. In addition to the more common topics associated with the degree programs, experience in architectural design, construction detailing and documents utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, digital architectural presentation utilizing software such as Revit, Formit, Autodesk 3DS Max, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, and/or experience in Facility Management, will be considered. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2025 at the earliest and January 2026 at the latest. Required: For 100 and 200 level courses: A Bachelor of Science in Architecture. For 300 and 400 level Architecture courses: A NAAB - accredited Bachelor or Master of Architecture, or a Bachelor of Science in Architecture plus a master’s degree in a related field such as building science, design studies, landscape architecture, commensurate with the topic being taught. For 300 and 400 level FM courses: A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and a master’s degree in any applicable field, including Education or Business; or a master’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
