Job Summary: A faculty member responsible for campus oversight of the Nursing curriculum and operations. The Campus Director is responsible for all aspects of the program, including the management, administration, continuous review and analysis, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the program at that campus. The Nursing Campus Program Director will receive a minimum of 40% overall administrative release time for the academic year to perform the administrative responsibilities to oversee the Nursing program on at his/her campus. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and 3 years of teaching experience or as required by programmatic accreditation.

Licensing Requirements:

- PA Nursing License.
- Valid Driver's License.

Hiring Range: No less than $87,623. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience

Preferred Qualifications: Community college teaching experience.
Leadership experience.

Standard Duties

Provides oversight for the daily operations of the program.

Provide guidance and leadership for the clinical coordinators (Harrisburg/Lancaster campus only).

Provide leadership for various Department Bylaw Committees.

Work in collaboration with Department Chair on the following:

  • Recruitment of clinical agencies
  • Recruitment of adjunct faculty
  • Clinical assignment of agencies
  • Clinical assignment of faculty
  • Research campus outcomes, and develop plan for remediation
  • Perform classroom and/or clinical observations as needed.
  • AP- 878 - Verify continuing education for faculty.

Work with Academic Dean to prepare class schedules and staff faculty accordingly.

Order course material and works in coordination with the campus bookstores.

Work with Academic Dean in the on-boarding, observation, and evaluation of adjunct faculty.

Participate in the budget process including planning and capital requests, manages operational budget and day to day transfers.

Support student success and responds to and works to resolve student issues.

  • Attend marketing events and open houses.
  • Participates in college and community service activities.
  • Conduct program orientations.
  • Maintain appropriate student records as required by the college, accrediting, licensure and registry agencies.
  • Handle complaints regarding the program.
  • Handle disciplinary actions with students.
  • Oversee campus-based celebration ceremonies.
  • Reviews admissions documentation for clearance to the program.

Represent “the face of HACC” at the campus level through involvement with community projects.

Represent “the face of HACC” and maintain open communication at the campus level with all clinical agencies utilized by the campus.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

  • Supervises employees and assigns work.
  • Manages operational budget and day to day transfers for assigned campus.
  • Oversees a department or function and provides leadership and direction.
