Job Summary: This position provides individual and/or group advising and support for high school students who are enrolled in college level courses. This can include course selection assistance and confirmation, registration assistance and course support for success. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years related experience.*Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Such as those listed above.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License.

Hiring Range: $21.21

Job Specific Task List:

1. Plan and facilitate virtual advising sessions; advise students remotely and in-person as needed.

2. Serve as an advocate and resource for students navigating college processes such as code of conduct, grade appeals, and the complaint process.

3. Actively participate in systematic assessment of dual enrollment process; provide information, analyze data, and generate written reports regarding caseload progress and contribute to the development of effectiveness reports.

4. Conduct student interactions in compliance with FERPA regulations; demonstrate understanding of the College's interpretation of FERPA rules for the release of student information to faculty, parents, students, and third parties. 5. Participate in college-wide activities/events, strategies, and improvement efforts to support enrollment, retention, and overall student success.

6. Engage in professional development activities to ensure competence in success coaching best practices; complete professional development activities such as memberships in professional organizations and attendance at conferences, workshops, and webinars.

7. Travel to HACC locations to support success coaching function.

8. Perform other duties as assigned. - (Standard)

Job Type: Part-Time (less than 1,000 hours)

If part time, hours per week: up to 20 hours a week
