Job Summary: This position provides support for Military and Veterans Affairs office activities such as training and processing of records and reports according to best practice and federal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates' Degree and 3 years military experience .*

Job Specific Task List:
- Assist with processing of veterans, eligible dependents of veterans, National Guard and Selected Reserve members, and Active Duty personnel educational benefit claims to the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and federal and state agencies for Montgomery G. I. Bill benefits and other federal and state benefits. - (Essential)
- Responsible for enrollment certification of veterans for education benefits. - (Essential)
- Meet with veterans and other eligible students and advises them of various types of education benefits. - (Essential)
- Assist veterans and other eligible students in applying for benefits. - (Essential)
- Advise veterans and other eligible students of the documentation required to apply for benefits. - (Essential)
- Make personal contact with veterans who are eligible but have not applied for benefits. - (Essential)
- Generate reports from Banner and VA Once to verify veteran attendance and benefit application status. - (Essential)
- Maintains files to substantiate benefit claims. - (Essential)
- Help perform current veteran student and potential communication and outreach. - (Essential)
- Complete all actions to upload student Education Paths, Student Degree Plans, Class enrollment and grade reporting into ArmyIgnitED. - (Essential)
- Complete all actions to upload student Education Paths, Student Degree Plans, Class enrollment and grade reporting into the Air Force Academic Institution Portal. - (Essential)
- Other additional VA duties as assigned. - (Standard)
