Your new role will consist of

• Supervise drivers/operators with their daily duties, including safety, environmental, training, and driver NHVAS compliance.
• Have a safety-first attitude, ensuring the team is working collaboratively and providing support where required.
• Monitoring daily schedules and ensuring work has been completed and closed off. Rescheduling work where required.
• Able to adapt to emergencies and make on the spot decisions.
• Hold regular toolbox talks with drivers & operators
• Assist in plant operations when required

Skills and Experience

• Must hold an open-class HR license
• Forklift license preferred, or willing to obtain
• Waste experience advantageous, not essential as full training is provided 
• No issues completing physical laboring as is the nature of the position
• A strong commitment to safety; and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
