Your new role will consist of
- Supervise drivers/operators with their daily duties, including safety, environmental, training, and driver NHVAS compliance.
- Have a safety-first attitude, ensuring the team is working collaboratively and providing support where required.
- Monitoring daily schedules and ensuring work has been completed and closed off. Rescheduling work where required.
- Able to adapt to emergencies and make on the spot decisions.
- Hold regular toolbox talks with drivers & operators
- Assist in plant operations when required
Skills and Experience
- Must hold an open-class HR license
- Forklift license preferred, or willing to obtain
- Waste experience advantageous, not essential as full training is provided
- No issues completing physical laboring as is the nature of the position
- A strong commitment to safety; and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
