Job Description:

The Marketing Manager develops and implements strategic healthcare marketing to support UToledo Health’s operational priorities with a focus on prospective and new patient acquisition, patient retention and education, service line development, reputation management, and brand awareness and affinity. As a member of the marketing strategy team, this role reports to the Executive Director, Marketing and Communications and takes direction from and serves as the primary liaison with UToledo Health leaders to establish differentiation and communicate value to current and prospective patients, build the reputation of key service lines, promote emerging treatments and procedures, and highlight the medical research capabilities of the health system among the northwest Ohio community, healthcare providers and the extended region.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field (business, marketing, communications or related) required. • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in developing marketing communication strategies in a large, complex organization. Healthcare experience preferred. • Project management experience required. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills are required. • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to keep organized and accurate records and meet deadlines.
