Job Description:

Assumes the responsibility for managing all logistical aspects of the interprofessional UT program initiatives. Collaborates, communicates and coordinates with the interprofessional faculty and staff, the School for Interprofessional Education, and the IISC to optimize resources by managing training/educational events, including arranging classrooms, labs, materials, resources and personnel required to provide training and education. Works with the faculty from all the involved programs (~10) from 4 different Colleges across UT’s campuses. Manages appropriate session set ups for all events on the HSC and main campus; welcomes and directs faculty and students. This position is responsible for drafting correspondence, editing curricular materials, liaising with sites, updating websites and Blackboard, generating student rosters, tracking attendance for the > 550 students, running evaluation reports, coordinating, and assuring faculty are available for teaching sessions, managing expenses incurred for the program, and developing financial and activity reports for the Director of the School for Interprofessional Education and the IPE faculty. The individual will be involved in scholarly activity by participating in the development and presentation of proposals at national meetings. The individual must possess the ability to work autonomously, when required, and use high level organizational, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years minimum in business, education, communications, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in an education or training environment desired.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with front line customer support.
• Experience with program/report development and event management.
• Knowledge of event development and event scheduling and budgetary management.
