The UWF Center for Cybersecurity seeks an experienced cybersecurity academic and scholar with demonstrated contributions in cybersecurity education and research for an open rank faculty opportunity. Candidates with demonstrated experience developing and teaching various cybersecurity courses, training and/or workforce development programs are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of securing grants or contracts to support education, training, workforce development, and research. Teaching and research interests include but are not limited to artificial intelligence and/or machine learning for cybersecurity, critical infrastructure security, industrial control systems security, cloud security, and industry certification courses. Candidates with other teaching and/or research experience are welcome to apply. A successful candidate may be hired as (1) a non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, (2) an assistant professor in a tenure-track position in the appropriate academic department, or (3) an associate or full professor with tenure in the appropriate academic department, all based on education, experience, and preference. Rank and tenure within the University will be determined by educational background, experience, and record.

The School of Education at the University of West Florida in Pensacola invites applications for a (non-tenure) Clinical Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership. The UWF Educational Leadership program is a thriving master's degree-earning principal preparation program. The program faculty is committed to preparing instructional leaders for diverse school settings to positively impact students, schools, communities, and the world. Although the program is fully online, applicants must complete on-campus office hours and attend in-person School of Education meetings. Candidate must be willing to serve on dissertation committees for the School of Education. The successful candidate will foster student learning through innovation and effective instructional practices using technology-based learning platforms to teach twelve credit hours per semester of online master's level courses in educational leadership. A successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the application of data and research to drive programmatic changes for continuous improvement. Through this search, we seek an energetic, committed colleague who will contribute to the goals and mission of the program by providing rigorous and relevant courses with an emphasis on the following: Modeling ethical leadership practices; Fostering a collaborative learning environment; Integrating data-driven decision-making; Participating in embedded field experiences in eight courses; Connecting theory to practice in two clinical courses, Instructional Leadership and the Principalship; and Provide mentoring support to master's and doctoral-level students.

Development and Management: Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of extended reality, simulation, and AI project initiatives. Oversee daily operations at the institute by maintaining regular communication with the institute Director/Faculty Lead. Coordinates the scheduling of the institute’s physical and virtual lab facilities. Responsibility for maintenance, updates, and general operation of all virtual reality equipment, simulation equipment, audio-visual equipment, platforms and licensing, and computers used in the institute. Manages all institute projects through the full life cycle. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the institute processes and equipment. Act upon institute Director/Faculty Lead quality enhancement initiatives. Develop best practices and project development processes in a quickly changing and dynamic environment based on student, faculty, and university needs. Drive impact through high quality key institute initiatives and garner stakeholder adoption and support. Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with stakeholders including UWF SOE faculty and administration, ITS, CTLT, established vendors, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment between institute initiatives and organizational goals/mission. Establish partnerships with relevant vendors, educational organizations, and industry experts to stay informed about best practices and emerging technologies.
