Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.; Exempt classification.

Essential Functions: Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications (or designated project lead), the Senior PeopleSoft Developer serves as the technical lead and primary analyst/programmer for Oracle/PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), Campus Solutions, or Financials modules. The incumbent is responsible for interpreting user requirements, leading technical design and programming, maintaining application performance, and ensuring data security and system integrity. Responsibilities include developing project plans, supervising technical tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance the PeopleSoft environment. |
Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Eight years of experience in application design, development, integration, and support and with PeopleSoft HCM or Campus Solutions. Sever years’ experience using PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, etc.) and with Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and SQR. Deep knowledge of systems development lifecycle and structured design methods. Familiarity with third-party tools used with PeopleSoft. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Project planning and time management expertise. Ability to train and lead small technical teams. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Desired Qualifications: Graduate degree. Experience in higher education environments; HCM (e.g., Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Admin) and in Student Administration (e.g., Admissions, Financial Aid, Self-Service). Experience with: CSU's CMS PeopleSoft systems; PeopleSoft EPM, RDS, Process Scheduler, Security Manager; Oracle and SQL Server database administration; LDAP/Active Directory integration and PeopleSoft Portal or similar platforms. Previous supervisory or lead role in systems development projects. |
