- Remuneration: $113k - $123k base (+17% super, annual leave loading)

About the role
This position is based in the School of Population Health and provides leadership and support to the curriculum design of the Graduate Entry Master of Nursing Program, due to commence in 2028. The Graduate Entry Master of Nursing Program will be the first nursing program delivered at UNSW. The Educational Developer will draw on their understanding of aligning curriculum with accreditation standards and pedagogical frameworks to contribute to the curriculum design, specifically the theoretical underpinning of the program, the learning and the assessment approaches.
The Educational Developer will also support the development of an evaluation framework that measures the achievement of the program learning outcomes, including cultural capability. The Educational Developer will lead the curriculum mapping to ensure the program aligns with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation standards.
Key skills and experience required:
- Relevant qualifications in health education with experience in curriculum development for higher education health programs that lead to professional registration.
- Evidence of providing effective leadership in identifying and developing areas for innovation and improvement of learning and teaching in accordance with strategic priorities and policy requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in designing evaluation frameworks that identify the capacity of an education program to achieve the program learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum mapping for education health programs that lead to professional registration.
- Demonstrated experience in developing engaging and user-friendly course sites in learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas) including the production of interactive learning materials and activities utilising a range of appropriate educational technologies that enhance the student experience.
- Demonstrated effective project management including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/projects to achieve project outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Excellent digital skills in using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Power Platform (Power BI, Automate, Apps). Demonstrated use of Power Apps for teaching contexts would be highly regarded.
- Highly developed communication skills in building and maintaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, coupled with a strong client-focused service orientation and a proven track record of initiating and developing innovative solutions to problems.
