  • Remuneration: Level 8 from $127,351 base salary per annum (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation and leave loading 
  • Location: Kensington, NSW - Hybrid flexible working (2 days on campus)

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in connecting leaders with the talent that enables UNSW to thrive. Partnering closely with academic and professional stakeholders, you’ll lead end to end recruitment for mid to senior roles, shaping tailored strategies that respond to evolving workforce needs. 

You’ll bring market insight, proactive search capability, and technology enabled practices together to continually uplift recruitment outcomes and the candidate experience. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the role may also provide leadership to 1–2 team members, supporting capability uplift and shared success across the function. 
Your day to day will include:

  • Leading end to end recruitment for mid to senior academic and professional roles, delivering a seamless and high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, partnering with leaders to design and deliver targeted recruitment strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Driving executive search and proactive sourcing activity, including direct approaches, networking, market research, and talent pooling.
  • Championing continuous improvement by leveraging data insights, technology, and innovative practices to enhance recruitment efficiency and outcomes.
  • Providing strong account management, tracking KPIs, recruitment performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Contributing to broader recruitment projects, process enhancements, and initiatives that strengthen UNSW’s employee value proposition.
     

About You: As a relationship-driven recruiter, you'll hold extensive experience across the acquisition space, bringing the following skills & experience: 

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant, with a blend of inhouse and agency experience.
  • Proven success recruiting mid to senior management and executive roles, including the use of executive search methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices, market intelligence, and talent attraction strategies.
  • A genuine commitment to exceptional candidate care and stakeholder experience.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives, with the ability to leverage technology and AI to improve recruitment effectiveness.
  • Excellent relationship building, influencing, and communication skills, with confidence managing complex stakeholder groups.
