At UNSW, we are shaping the future through innovation, collaboration and impact. As an Administrative Officer within the Office of the Chief Technology and Infrastructure Officer, you will play a vital role in keeping things moving behind the scenes.
This is more than an administrative role. You will be at the centre of a fast paced, high performing team, supporting senior leaders, enabling key projects and ensuring the smooth delivery of initiatives that drive operational and strategic success. Your work will directly contribute to how effectively the team connects, communicates and delivers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the delivery of projects, initiatives and ad hoc programs on behalf of Directors
- Manage complex enquiries, applying sound judgement and UNSW policies to achieve the best outcomes
- Prepare high quality briefing notes, reports, presentations, agendas and minutes
- Oversee expenses, invoices, credit card transactions and travel arrangements with accuracy and efficiency
- Support the improvement and implementation of administrative systems, processes and policies
- Assist with internal communications and documentation on behalf of the Executive Officer
- Maintain and enhance stakeholder relationships, delivering consistently high levels of service
- Ensure shared workspaces, including meeting and print rooms, are well presented and functional

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience supporting projects and coordinating activities end to end
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures with sound judgement
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to suggest and implement better ways of working
