Why your role matters
The GEI Coordinator provides high-level operational and project support within the Global Education Initiatives team to advance the University’s global education strategy. Reporting to the Director of GEI, the role focuses on the discovery, scoping, and planning of new Transnational Education (TNE) initiatives.
This position serves as a central coordination point for both internal and external stakeholders, balancing practical program services with risk assessment and project administration.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be required to undertake and have experience in the following areas of expertise:
- Provide planning, research, and reporting for new TNE partnerships using established assessment frameworks to evaluate market viability and due diligence.
- Maintain pipeline development and reporting while coordinating internal and external consultations to effectively triage and progress new opportunities.
- Coordinate academic and administrative program approvals and quality assurance processes specifically for offshore award programs.
- Monitor TNE program risks and issues, supporting the development of mitigation strategies and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Manage relationship channels between internal and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and partnership liaison.
- Oversee partner documentation and key deliverables to ensure adherence to governance pathways and consistent performance monitoring.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience, combined with professional experience in project support or an equivalent blend of education and training.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, detailed project documentation.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across various organisational levels while maintaining the initiative to manage independent tasks.
- Technical proficiency across a range of computer systems and applications to support project administration and reporting.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritise competing demands and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Solid understanding of the project life cycle, including the development of plans, objectives, and governance-aligned deliverables.
