As the Manager, Customer Analytics Transformation you will step into this newly created role where you will focus on the support of UNSW's lead management ecosystem and 'Progress for All' strategic ambitions. You will primarily be responsible for data strategy and governance, digital innovation and adoption, and benefit realisation to drive transformational enterprise-wide customer experience outcomes.

About You:  

This role will suit a strategic and forward-thinking leader who can drive the evolution of UNSW’s customer analytics capability, leveraging data, AI and digital innovation to deliver personalised, insight-driven experiences across the student, alumni and research lifecycle. More specifically you must have:

  • Provide operational leadership and manage the Customer Analytics transformation and innovation area and its team members.
  • Position M&DX as the Centre of Excellence for lead management and digital personalisation. Working collaboratively with marketing, sales and digital experience leads on the development and implementation of UNSW's data-and-technology-driven CX/DX innovation strategy and roadmap in alignment with 'Progress for All' and M&DX priorities.
  • Responsible for defining, developing and implementing the M&DX customer data and AI strategy in alignment with Enterprise Data Office (EDO) and UNSW IT principles and guardrails. This encompasses processes, guidelines, tooling, prioritisation and governance.
  • Product owner for RT-CDP and CJA. Responsible for the business configuration, sourcing and ingestion strategy, customer schema maintenance, consent management, customer segmentation, predictive analytics, business intelligence, reporting and insight generation.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of M&DX AI models, governance and architecture. Responsible for establishing internal governance for data application deployment in coordination with UNSW IT and EDO – including security protocols, anomaly detection, incident management and monitoring, review cycles and effectiveness reporting.
  • Identify and facilitate prioritisation and development of high-value use cases for the customer analytics management ecosystem that demonstrate tangible business outcomes across student recruitment, alumni engagement, and research partnerships.
  • Partner on the strategic roadmap definition for lead management transformation, conducting horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and technologies that position UNSW as a sector leader.
  • Provide thought leadership to M&DX Leadership on digital analytics transformation, AI, operating model evolution, and capability development, particularly relating to Customer Data Management, Journey Orchestration, Sales Engagement, and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Enable customer journey strategies across all MDX priority audiences, driving the evolution from campaign-based to always-on lifecycle marketing approaches.
  • Foster innovation culture through experimentation and test-and-learn approaches, mentoring M&DX team members on customer analytics best practice.
  • Build and maintain a working relationship with UNSW stakeholders to advocate for customer-centric approaches and to ensure alignment and seamless integration.
