Why Your Role Matters:
UNSW Canberra School of Business is globally recognised for excellence in teaching and research. In this education focused role, you will contribute to excellence in teaching and service within the discipline of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, and/or Maintenance Management. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting industry and defence-related engagement where appropriate. The role of Lecturer reports to Head of School and has no direct reports.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
• A Doctoral qualification (PhD) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Maintenance Management, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate, postgraduate and non-award course levels delivered in a face-to-face and/or online learning environment.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales)
• Demonstrated experience and/ or current knowledge of Defence either as a serving member or as a civilian working with Defence (highly desirable)
• Practical experience in logistics operations, asset management, maintenance systems, or supply chain planning, particularly in complex or high-reliability environments (highly desirable)
• Experience engaging with industry partners, government agencies, or defence organisations (highly desirable)
