Why Your Role Matters:
Reporting to the Strategic Research Engagement Manager, our Administrative Officer provides day-to-day support within the Canberra Research Unit to ensure the efficient delivery of the operational research needs of UNSW Canberra.
Who You Are (skills and experience):
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Research management experience of at least two years is highly desirable.
- Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in order to provide excellent customer service.
- Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to events, projects and initiatives.
- Advanced numeracy skills.
