Why Your Role Matters

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate (Level A) to contribute to the ARC-funded project “Enhancing Retirement Outcomes: The Role of Liquidity in Decumulation.”

You will work under the guidance of Associate Professor Yang Shen, developing research expertise and contributing to high-quality scholarly outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with the project.
  • Undertake literature reviews, data analysis, and research activities using appropriate methods.
  • Disseminate research outcomes through publications and presentations.
  • Participate in conferences and workshops relevant to the project.
  • Assist with supervision of research students where required.

 

About You

  • A PhD (completed or near completion) and Master’s in Actuarial Studies.
  • Strong track record of publications in actuarial/risk/insurance journals.
  • Ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to staying current with discipline knowledge and UNSW values.
