Together, we are driven to be thoughtful, practical, and purposeful in all we do. Taking this combined approach is what makes our work matter. If you want a career where you can thrive, be challenged and do meaningful work, you’re in the right place.

UNSW IT is part of UNSW’s Operations Division and provides reliable, cost effective and state of the art IT services. The Division was established in recent years to provide corporate services in support of the Faculties and Divisions. As part of this change the UNSW IT team continues to evolve as it works toward its ambition of being a world class technology delivery and support team enabling the University with world class solutions and capabilities.

UNSW IT is guided by the UNSW Technology Strategy which has identified key strategic goals and capabilities for UNSW technology. This role is to work on a key transformation program: BOS. The Business Optimization Strategy (BOS) is a key strategic investment for UNSW with a broad scale of impact. The BOS Program will deliver a new approach to service delivery by improving our processes, our data and our tools. Most importantly, BOS is about giving time back to our staff to focus on teaching and research. The business transformation under the BOS Program will focus on the processes and services related to Finance, People & Culture and Information Technology, and the way these services will be provided to all of UNSW. Two technology platforms will be implemented to support the achievement of this objective; 1) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to help UNSW streamline and manage Finance and P&C processes and 2) Enterprise Service Management to help UNSW create a single front door into support options for staff and suppliers. The primary purpose of the Enterprise Program Architect is to lead the development of target state architecture and strategy for the BOS Program and to ensure that the program of work is delivered in alignment to this target state. The role will lead the development of policies, standards, frameworks and architectural roadmaps to guide the planning, selection, design and implementation of solutions within BOS, and will also support IT governance.
