This role is based within the University Office of Global Affairs (UOGA), responsible for developing and implementing our global engagement and internationalisation strategy. You’ll be joining the close-knit team that works to retain and develop international links to maximise UNSW’s contributions across the world as a university contributing to education and research globally.

Why your Role Matters
This is a dynamic position providing executive support services to our Global Division leadership team. As a seasoned EA, you will partner with the Pro-Vice Chancellor International and Pro-Vice Chancellor Transnational Ventures, supporting them day-to-day with high-level administration assistance, exercising judgement across proactive diary/meeting management, travel coordination as well as correspondence/documentation preparation.

Who you are: We’re looking for a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills to build trusted working relationships across the University and externally, extending to governmental, diplomatic and commercial partners, both domestically and internationally.

As an analytical thinker and natural problem-solver, you’ll provide advanced administrative and logistical support to enable the Division to further Global strategic goals to deliver our mission on the global stage.
You will hold existing executive support experience alongside:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention.
  • High level organisational skills with proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines, using judgement and initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects and initiatives, monitoring, and delivering projects. 
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, working with a range of computer systems and applications.
  • Ability to operate autonomously while demonstrating strong initiative and a proactive approach to driving process improvement.
