Why Your Role Matters:
As a Teaching Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting academic staff and students by ensuring that teaching is delivered efficiently and effectively. This includes managing learning spaces, providing TELT (Technology Enabled Learning & Teaching) support, and coordinating a range of teaching logistics. You will work closely with the Program Support Lead and Team Leader, Teaching Support, in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities in this role include (but are not limited to):
- Provide expert advice on policies, systems, and procedures related to teaching support activities.
- Act as TELT administrator and maintain high-level communication regarding the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Support assessment processes including exams, results processing, and special considerations.
- Coordinate academic casual contracts in line with school budgets.
- Manage course and program information including course outlines, catalogues, and enrolment requirements.
- Assist with term planning activities and ensure accurate Clash Free Course Combinations (CFCCs).
Who You Are:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of course coordination, enrolments, and teaching logistics.
- Experience with TELT systems and the ability to apply technical knowledge to teaching support.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
