As part of the Business Development & Commercialisation (Industry & Innovation) team, you will lead initiatives to license university intellectual property, foster collaborative research partnerships, and create spinouts that shape the future of the MedTech industry.

Your Role

You’ll act as a vital interface between UNSW academics and our partners in the MedTech sector, focusing on:

• Expanding UNSW’s industry networks and securing high-value research partnerships.
• Leading the commercialisation of IP in medical devices, diagnostics, medical AI, health data, and digital health.
• Collaborating with faculties and initiatives like the Health Translational Hub (HTH) and Randwick Health Innovation Precinct (RHIP) to accelerate innovation.

Who We’re Looking For

You are a dealmaker with a proven track record in MedTech R&D business development, from closing research partnerships to IP commercialisation. You’ll also have the skills to empower researchers through training and capability development.
