ESS, part of Compass Group, provides essential hospitality and support services to the Australian Defence Force across Australia. We are seeking reliable and professional Drivers to safely transport personnel, supplies, and equipment around base and to designated locations. 

This is a key operational role where your skills and professionalism help maintain safe, on-time transport for our clients. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Safely operate vehicles to transport personnel, equipment, and supplies 

• Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and Defence site requirements 

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles 

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicles 

• Provide excellent customer service and assistance as required 

• Report any incidents, faults, or operational issues promptly 

What we’re looking for 

• HR Licence (Heavy Rigid) is mandatory 

• Relevant state-based passenger bus permit   

• Previous driving or passenger transport experience highly regarded 

• Strong communication skills and professional presentation 

• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts 

• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position (Defence security clearance required) 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
