We’re seeking an Associate Business Partner – Commercial to join our team — someone who combines financial acumen with strong leadership and the ability to partner strategically across a complex, fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Commercial Business Partner – Defence, this role provides high-level commercial support across operations and finance, with responsibility for:

Leading and developing a small commercial team to deliver accurate and timely month-end and management reporting.

Driving performance reporting and analysis, providing meaningful insights that influence business decisions and improve outcomes.

Owning the planning cycle, including monthly outlooks, forecasts, and annual budgets.

Managing contract compliance and commercial modelling, ensuring escalations and variations are implemented effectively.

Acting as a key commercial advisor to operational leadership, collaborating closely with FP&A, supply chain, legal, and business development teams.

Preparing commercial insights and presentation materials for the Senior Leadership Team.
You’ll also play a key role in fostering our Safety Culture framework, promoting communication, accountability, and continuous improvement across your team and stakeholders.
About You
You’re a commercially minded professional with a strong background in finance and business partnering. You’re comfortable navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading a small team to success.
You’ll bring:

A degree in Finance or Accounting (CA/CPA qualified or equivalent highly regarded).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial or finance role, ideally within large, multi-site environments.

Strong technical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Demonstrated ability to manage workflows, coach a team, and deliver outcomes under pressure.

Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems (desirable).
