We are currently looking for an experienced Associate Business Partner Commercial to provide sound commercial support to Senior Operations and financial leadership teams. Leading and developing a commercial team, end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews and financial analysis of relevant portfolio. Promotion and support of Our Safety Culture framework is expected.
The Position:
- Deliver easily digestible and actionable financial reporting, analysis and commentary to management to support decision-making and drive value creation
- Prepare analysis and presentation materials for the senior leadership team, including for month end, budgeting and forecasting processes
- New contract mobilisation – Implement new systems, streamlined processes, Due diligence and new controls to track and forecast by site and provide insights to drive performance
- Commercial modelling and contract compliance – preparing and evaluating contract change proposals while ensuring contractual price escalations are implemented effectively
- Stakeholder management – provide commercial guidance to operational leaders and liaise daily with functional areas such as business development, FPA and legal.
- Lead and manage an effective team and monitor performance and use effective leadership, coaching and communication techniques to motivate, empower and develop team
- Building strong team collaboration through teamwork and effective communication
The Person:
- Location: Sydney preferred
- Significant experience in commercial accounting post CPA or CA qualification
- Advanced Excel skills, attention to detail and strong internal and external communication and influencing skills
- Ability to effectively manage team workflow & to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Results oriented and be able to demonstrate sound technical and analytical skills, alone with the ability to lead and drive team performance.
