The Role:

As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in our fast-paced culinary environment. You’ll support the kitchen team by ensuring equipment is clean, waste is managed responsibly, and workspaces are safe and spotless.

• Operating commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Supporting chefs with basic cleaning and prep duties as required
• Waste disposal and stock replenishment
• Being a reliable and proactive team player

The Person:

• Previous stewarding or kitchen hand experience is a bonus (but not essential!)
• A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including nights, weekends, and event days
• A team-first attitude – no task is too small
• Knowledge of food safety and OH&S practices (desirable)
