We are seeking 1 Casual Australian-Trade Qualified Painter for the Delta Facilities Maintenance Casual Team. Works will be sporadic throughout the year. The position will be FIFO from Perth Airport, at any of our 12 Remote Mine Site Accomodation Villages. Swings will usually be 14 Days away, followed by a minimum of 7 days at home, until the next request for labour is received.

THE POSITION

• Report to Delta FM Operational Support
• Decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures
• Range of tasks including preparing surfaces for painting, premixing paints, removing fixtures, fill nail holes, cracks, joints etc & line marking
• Prioritising urgent works, meeting rectification deadlines. Actively manage and meet response times
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice

THE PERSON

• Hold Australian Recognised Trade Certificate as a Painter
• Full C Class Drivers Licence, White Card & Police Check within 12 months
• FIFO experience in a camp maintenance environment desirable but not essential
• Pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screening within 12 months
• Resides in WA and fly from Perth Airport
