THE POSITION

• Working a 7am - 3pm roster you will be the driving force between the lunch buffet service for 2,000 meals each day.
• Working as part of a collaborative team you will see yourself putting up stunning dishes that have the students coming back for more
• You will also be given opportunities to grow and develop at this flagship site
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimise wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert. IV Commercial Cookery
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with great communication skills
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
