Our properties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Sydney are world-class destinations featuring award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues. We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to join us as Head of People Partnerships and Projects at The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Lead the Sydney People Partnerships and Projects team to deliver strategic and operational people initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leaders to implement the TSEG and TSS People Plan, including performance and remuneration reviews.
  • Drive major projects such as cultural transformation, decentralisation, and remediation activities.
  • Provide expert advice on complex Employee and Industrial Relations matters, including EA negotiations.
  • Oversee learning, development, and recognition programs, including Welcome Days and Star Gala Awards.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally to support strategic business goals.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in senior HR leadership roles.
  • Expertise in organisational change, talent management, cultural transformation, and project delivery.
  • Strong ability to influence, coach, and build relationships with senior leaders.
  • Experience in regulated environments with Enterprise Agreements and union engagement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Organisational Development, or Psychology.
