Reporting directly to the Surveillance Shift Manager, the Surveillance Assistant Shift Manager will provide leadership, motivation, coaching and direction for team members to meet departmental objectives, as well as assist the Surveillance Shift Manager in managing monitor room operations.  

A few of your responsibilities 

• Ensure compliance with all operational policies, procedures and standards and immediately report any violations to the Surveillance Duty Manager. 
• Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations. 
• Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers.  
• Audit and review team member reports and tasks to ensure compliance to minimum reporting standards and SOPs. 
• Assist with the training and career development of team members.  

What we are looking for  

• Comprehensive knowledge of Casino Games  

• Demonstrated casino Surveillance experience   

• Current QLD Key Employee Licence  

• Strong skills in IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Casino Management System (Synkros), Game Connect, Protecht, CID  

• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory and organisational rules, policies and procedures including Casino Control Act & Regulations
