Job Description:
NIH funded postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Bins Joe, focused on microbiota and their products as regulations of host blood pressure.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in any area of biomedical/biological sciences, required.
Hands on experience with rat/mouse studies, required.
Practical familiarity with standard cell culture, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a biomedical research laboratory, required.
Self-motivated to carry out research projects and pursue career development, required.
Willingness to write a postdoctoral fellowship, required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, required
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team, required.
Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI, required.
