Job Description:
The University of Toledo Judith Herb College of Education is seeking to hire an assistant Lecturer of teacher education with teaching strengths in literacy instruction for pre-service teachers and experience supporting developing readers in PK-12 settings.
The successful candidate will teach courses in literacy and reading development, participate in course assessment and revision, and maintain currency in literacy instruction and teacher preparation guidelines. The candidate will be encouraged to establish and maintain connections with local schools.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required qualifications include: a master's degree in teacher education, curriculum and instruction or related field, three years of experience in supporting developing readers in PK-12 settings, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
A doctoral degree, experience in pre-service teacher education, and online platforms is preferred.
