Job Description:
The Assistance Coordinator is responsible application process, maintaining compliance, issuing referrals, determining client assistance conclusions, providing services associated with the assistance program and facilitating positive health outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1 year experience associated with RWHAP core and support services, or housing assistance required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified HCVP Specialist preferred
• Understanding of housing issues and programs including those that serve people experiencing homelessness, people with HIV and/or other disabilities preferred
• Recent experience in the care of people living with HIV preferred
• Knowledge of community resources for children and families preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
