Job Description:
A high-skill grant-funded postdoctoral position for a PhD level individual to study the mechanisms of prostate cancer bone metastases, tumor dormancy and drug resistance in culture and in animal models.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D in Cancer Biology or related field, required.
Hands on experience with cell and molecular biology, required.
Practical familiarity with standard tissue culture, animal studies, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer biology research lab, required.
Ability to write manuscripts for publication, required.
Ability and willingness to write a grant for an individual postdoctoral fellowship, required.
Ability to lead multiple research projects, required
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, required.
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary researh team, required.
Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI, required.
