This position assists with coordinating commencement related functions, as well as training and reporting in support of the ceremony. This position oversees NCAA academic eligibility systems and reporting. This position manages all aspects of degree and enrollment verification. This position will maintain a high level of knowledge related to Banner, document imaging systems, and Registrar’s Office functions, including registration, records, and scheduling, and will document and train staff, faculty, and students in these areas.

Under the direction of the Hospital Security Director and Assistant Director, the Security Officer 2 is responsible for carrying out lead functions for the security staff such as scheduling, shift staffing, incident reports, assignments, test bank training, shift roll call and assigning daily tasks. The Security Officer 2 (SO2) works closely with the University of Toledo Police and Hospital Staff to provide a safe and secure environment for all patients, visitors, staff, faculty and students. The SO2 is always aware of their surroundings, using situational awareness to identify criminal or unsafe conditions. The SO2 is responsible for the dispatch center operations and field operations on the Health Science Campus and to protect and serve the UT/UTMC community. The SO2 adheres to and administers all required Security Operating Procedures as well as University customer service iCare Standards at all times. The SO2 must attend and follow all department specific safety education and training in an effort to create a safe work environment for all.
