The Dean of Students provides leadership, organization, supervision and evaluation of the following areas and programs: Office of the Dean of Students and Office of Student Life, including Student Clubs and Organizations and the Student Government Association. The Dean of Students serves as a primary administrative contact and advocate for BRCC students in regards to concerns and grievances. The Dean is responsible for administering college policies and procedures regarding student's rights and responsibilities and working collaboratively with Campus deans, department chairs, faculty and academic support personnel to achieve student access and success. The Dean of Students implements and enforces Campus regulations and policies and meets with students who have exhibited poor conduct, and resolves problems accordingly. The Dean engages in strategic planning and promotes creative ideas that enable the College to uphold its mission, vision, and goals, and to be more productive, efficient, and continuously improve services. The Dean is expected to hold and promote the attitude that every student can be successful, that the purpose of the College is to enable students to be so, and to utilize the authority of the position to enable that success.

Full-time faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision and adhere to college-wide policies and procedures. Full-Time faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. They may teach during traditional weekday hours, evenings, and/or weekends and may deliver instruction in multiple modalities, including online, hybrid, and on-site courses held at any of the College’s instructional sites, including its dual enrolment sites (high schools). Full-time faculty are also responsible for the assessment of course and program learning outcomes for the revision and development of courses and curricula. Full-time faculty also advise students and engage in service, professional development, and the promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
