Job Summary: | This position is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of efforts to address the needs related to student and faculty mobility for faculty-led programs, including faculty-led initiatives, reciprocal student exchange programs, and study abroad through third-party providers. This role plays a crucial part in advancing the university’s internationalization efforts by promoting and managing study abroad programs as a high-impact educational practice. This position requires comprehensive oversight of risk management strategies - including emergency response planning, evacuation, repatriation, and managing natural disasters, housing and transportation logistics - as well as ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also encompasses scholarship administration, the development of effective strategic plans, student advising, program development analysis and improvement of business processes, and maintaining communication with prospective students and partner institutions. This position will require active involvement in marketing and outreach efforts, engaging students and faculty through classroom visits, collaboration with academic advisors, and using various channels across campus with a goal of increasing engagement and growth of study abroad students and programs. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. |
Position Qualifications: | Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; experience advising students, including handling inquiries, applications, and orientations, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience in planning, development and coordination of Study Abroad programs and assists internationalization efforts through supporting this specific high-impact practice. |
