Job Summary: | Performs circulation desk duties (including, but not limited to, circulating items, supervising desk student(s), dealing with circulation problems, receiving packages, checking phone messages, assisting patrons with locating course reserves, retrieving holds, and checking remote book drops). Assists the Equipment Specialist with equipment maintenance, including imaging, inventory, barcoding, cleaning, and organizing the extensive circulation collection of equipment for students, faculty, and staff. Helps compile data for annual reporting and proposals as needed. This position is responsible for closing the library on Fridays and opening and closing the library on Saturdays. |

Minimum Qualifications: | A high school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Position Qualifications: | High school graduate with two years of related experience, strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. |
Preferred Qualifications | Prefer candidates with some college education, general knowledge of library operations, and familiarity with a library computer system. Experience in maintaining and managing inventory of technology devices, including iPads and laptops. |
