Job Summary: | Assist the Program Manager of Production and Technical Services with planning and executing events, with an expertise in implementing the overall creative, technical and logistical elements that help an event succeed. Working alongside the Program Manager of Production and Technical Services and the Reservations and Conference Services Office, this person will spend the majority of their time managing specific events, tracking inventory, and co-managing aspects of the event production process. The Production and Technical Services Specialist is responsible for working effectively with both client and internal teams to deliver high quality event production to both on and off campus clients. |

Position Qualifications: | A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Preferred Qualifications | Strong production competencies Ability to prioritize duties for effective and successful performance Ability to work varied and changing schedule (nights, weekends, early mornings included) Eye for detail and maniacal attention to delivering high quality service Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure Supervisory skills or experience Customer service skills or experience Punctual, reliable, and dedicated Ability to lift 50 pounds Thorough knowledge of audio visual equipment, set-up and operations including basic skills in the fields of audio, video and lighting including but not limited to: mixing equipment, lighting tools, cameras, microphones, projectors and video recorders, and amplifiers. |
