Job Summary: | The University of West Florida Department of Psychology invites applications for a 9-month, full-time Instructor of Psychology position, beginning August 2025. The position includes the following duties: 1) teaching large enrollment sections of general education courses, 2) managing assessment of general education outcomes, and 3) service to the department, college, university, and profession. The teaching load is 3:3 (three 3-credit courses per fall and spring semesters). The area of specialization is open. The successful candidate for the position will have completed a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology from a regionally accredited university and have strong evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching and assessment. This person will be responsible for teaching large enrollment undergraduate courses in our general education curriculum (e.g., General Psychology and Human Development Across the Lifespan). |
