Job Summary: | The Department of Social Work at the University of West Florida is seeking qualified applicants to serve as adjunct faculty teaching fully online and face to face courses in Social Work at the Bachelors and Masters level. The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. Minimum Qualifications: | Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure. |
Position Qualifications: | Minimum qualifications for consideration to teach Bachelor's level courses include an earned Master's degree in Social Work and 2 years of practice experience. Minimum qualifications for consideration to teach Master's level courses include and / or an earned Master's degree in Social Work with a valid clinical license in social work and or a doctorate degree such as a Ph.D., DSW, or a closely related field. |
