Job Summary: | Serves in a research capacity for a specified department or project within the university, which may include the following duties and responsibilities: • Performs tasks related to specific function/program assigned • Assumes responsibilities and assists faculty members in research and creative activities for a designated research area • Develops work plans in accordance with research objectives • Assists in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data and/or research findings • Assists with the development and evaluation of materials related to the scope of the research project • Assists in specialized administrative, technical, or editorial duties connected to research and creative activities • Prepares reports as needed • Supervises/coordinates participants for data collection • Supervises/coordinates scoring of project data • Completes other tasks as assigned by the principal investigator(s) • Works on supporting ongoing research grants and assisting faculty with developing new grant applications |

Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experience with issues pertaining to research and scope of research projects; experience organizing resources, time management, and adhering to budgets associated with specific projects; skilled in the use of personal computer and related software applications; M.S. degree or higher. |
