|Job Summary:||The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences is seeking qualified part-time adjunct instructors to teach in the following fields: Medical Laboratory Sciences which may include Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular, Immunology, and Immunohematology or lower-level prerequisite or non-MLS courses such as Clinical Genetics and Clinical Biochemistry or Fundamentals of Microbiology.
The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis. Your application will be reviewed by the appropriate academic department.

|Minimum Qualifications:||Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.|
|Position Qualifications:||Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization such as clinical laboratory sciences, biomedical sciences, or biochemistry. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist either as a generalist or in the field that is being taught with the exception of prerequisite courses. Prerequisite and non-MLS core courses do not require an MLS certification.|
|Preferred Qualifications||Master’s or higher degree in an appropriate field of specialization or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative with experience teaching in both face-to-face and online learning environments, including laboratory courses. Experience in teaching is preferred. Must be certified (unless teaching non-MLS core courses) as an MLS or MT (ASCP preferred) and licensed as an MLS in the state of Florida (preferred) or willing to get a license.|
