|Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor, 107490
|This position will teach both face-to-face and online, undergraduate level courses in Legal Studies. There may be a need to teach future graduate courses as well. The position requires a commitment to collegiality, innovation in teaching and learning, professional development, and academic citizenship. Summer teaching assignments may be available.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide service to the department, college, university, and community. The Department of Administration and Law and the College of Education and Professional Studies emphasizes community engagement, grantsmanship, mentoring, and the integration of high-impact educational practices in teaching and learning.
|Administration and Law
|Candidate must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution, be a member in good standing of a state bar and have experience as a practicing attorney.
|Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching and service. Expertise in civil procedure and legal ethics preferred. Additionally, besides appropriate credentials (J.D.) and bar membership, preferably the Florida Bar, the preferred qualification also includes mock trial experience and a willingness to coach the UWF Mock Trial Team.
