Job Summary: | The Graduate Assistant for Reservations and Conference Services Graduate Assistant will assist with the management of event reservations in the University Commons and Event Services event spaces and other bookings utilizing the EMS event reservations software. This position will assist with Reservations Consultant student employee management including recruiting, hiring, and training, and ongoing supervision alongside the Reservations Coordinator. |

Minimum Qualifications: |

Preferred Qualifications | Student or professional leadership experience in management, tourism, customer service, or hospitality role. Experience in planning and/or executing events. Experience supervising staff. Interest in a career in the hospitality and tourism, project management, marketing, or leadership development fields. Strong administrative skills, including written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and project management skills. Experience developing or working with assessment measures. Self-motivated to perform duties as well as create and complete projects with limited supervision. Ability to provide a high level of customer service. Ability to think quickly and creatively and assist with the implementation of marketing or process initiatives. |
