Position Title (Classification Title):  Adjunct instructor - Pool Position for Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering (HMCSE),
Job Summary: Part-time adjunct instructors for the following departments: Biology,
Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Earth
and Environmental Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and
Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.
Department COSE Dean's Office
FLSA: Exempt
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of
specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience
and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
Position Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of
specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience
and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s or higher degree in appropriate field of specialization or a closely
related discipline from an accredited institution and 18 graduate hours in the
field of teaching. The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative with
experience teaching in both face-to-face and online learning environments.
