| The UWF Center for Cybersecurity seeks an experienced cybersecurity academic and scholar with demonstrated contributions in cybersecurity education and research for an open rank faculty opportunity. Candidates with demonstrated experience developing and teaching various cybersecurity courses, training and/or workforce development programs are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of securing grants or contracts to support education, training, workforce development, and research. Teaching and research interests include but are not limited to artificial intelligence and/or machine learning for cybersecurity, critical infrastructure security, industrial control systems security, cloud security, and industry certification courses. Candidates with other teaching and/or research experience are welcome to apply.
A successful candidate may be hired as (1) a non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, (2) an assistant professor in a tenure-track position in the appropriate academic department, or (3) an associate or full professor with tenure in the appropriate academic department, all based on education, experience, and preference. Rank and tenure within the University will be determined by educational background, experience, and record. |

The successful candidate needs experience in writing, reading, and editing code.
