Role Purpose

This fantastic opportunity is for a Paralegal to join our Health team in our Brisbane office. Ideally, you will be a University Law student.

This role will see you working 3-4 days a week providing comprehensive paralegal and administrative support to the Principal and team of lawyers. This is a pivotal legal support role with varied workload, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines. This role will provide the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to work alongside one of our highly regarded Principal and their collaborative team. 

Experience

Our ideal candidate will have some previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role supporting a team of lawyers. Experience in insurance law is preferred but not essential.

Law students with law firm or insurance experience looking to transition into the legal profession long term are encouraged to apply as you will be provided with on the job training.

You are well known for your commitment to excellence, ability to maintain confidentiality as well as your strong client service orientation.  You will be someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, is willing to learn, with a can do attitude and strong attention to detail.

Education

  • Completion of Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
