About the Role
This opportunity is for an enthusiastic Graduate looking to join our high-performing General Insurance practice in our Melbourne office on a full-time basis. Ideally, you will have completed university.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of interesting and high-profile public and product liability matters (including both personal injury and property damage) under the supervision and guidance of our Principals. Our specialised expertise lies in effectively managing high-volume and intricate disputes, offering tailored claims management solutions to insurers.
This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to be heavily exposed to and involved in all aspects of our cases, allowing you to make a significant contribution to their outcome. You will receive consistent mentoring from Principals and Senior Lawyers and will form part of our wider team which boasts a collegiate, innovative and collaborative culture, making it the perfect environment for you to develop your advocacy skills, strategic-advice work, and practice management skills.
About You
We are interested in candidates who are motivated and interested to gain experience and insight into our insurance law and litigation practice area. Ideally, you will have:
- A genuine interest in working in insurance law or litigation
- Ability to work fast and meticulously with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and be a key member of a busy and close-knit team
- A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career
Education
- Completion of a recognised Law degree in Australia
- Completion or about to complete Practice Legal Training (PLT)

- Demonstrates a can do attitude and a willingness to help others
- Innovative and alert to opportunities for continuous improvement and learning
